Privacy policy

How personal data is handled when you visit the website or contact the project.

Effective date: 25 September 2026

The controller for this website is Yauheni Barysevich, operating under the Extelynx name, at Konstruktorska 9A, 02-673 Warsaw, Poland. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to privacy@extelynx.com.

Information we process

When a browser requests the website, Cloudflare may process the IP address, browser and user-agent information, requested URL, request timestamp, and related security and diagnostic information. Extelynx also processes information you choose to include when you send an email.

The website currently has no user accounts, payment processing, contact form, advertising, audience analytics, session replay, or cross-site tracking.

Why we process it

Technical request data is processed to deliver the website, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, enforce rate limits, and protect the website and its visitors. The legal basis is the controller's legitimate interests in providing a reliable and secure public website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Email correspondence is used to answer requests, understand product demand, and follow up on privacy or security reports. Depending on the request, the legal basis is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR or steps requested before entering a possible service relationship under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Cookies and browser storage

The website does not use advertising cookies, audience-analytics cookies, or cross-site tracking. It does not use persistent local storage. The documentation may use session storage only to preserve navigation state during the current browser session.

For example, __cf_bm expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.Strictly necessary securityNo — only strictly necessary security cookies may be used.

Extelynx does not use these technologies for advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking. The website remains accessible if browser storage is unavailable, although documentation navigation preferences may not be remembered during the session. You can remove cookies and browser storage using your browser settings. Cloudflare describes its conditional cookies and their durations in its official cookie documentation.

Service providers and transfers

Cloudflare delivers and protects the website and processes technical request data as a service provider and processor. Google provides email service for the extelynx.commailboxes. Personal data is not sold.

These providers may process data outside the EEA. Where required, transfers are protected by an applicable adequacy decision, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for participating recipients, or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary safeguards.

Retention

Extelynx does not enable Cloudflare Worker observability or Logpush and does not create a separate application-level request log. The website currently uses Cloudflare's Free plan. Cloudflare Security Analytics may retain request and security information for up to seven days, while Security Events may retain information about requests actioned or flagged by security products for up to 24 hours. These periods must be reviewed if the Cloudflare plan or configuration changes.

Email correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, maintain relevant project records, resolve a dispute, or meet a legal obligation. The period depends on the nature of the correspondence, whether follow-up is expected, and whether it is needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and may object to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

Contact and updates

Contact privacy@extelynx.com. This policy will be updated before adding audience analytics, accounts, payments, or other data-processing features, and if the hosting or storage configuration changes.
